FLUID MORPH

“Fluid Morph” is a project developed by resident artist Dehan Son (HKASON).

Conceived through the interplay between the rehabilitative and assistive devices of the present and the trace-bearing organs that hold memories of the past, a new body comes into being. This body moves through water, leaving its own unique traces and experimenting with new sensations within that motion. The patterns of wake it creates become sensorial records of the body’s dialogue with its environment—moments where existence redefines its relationship with the world. Through the flow of water, the body extends beyond itself, unsettling the boundaries of perception and revealing the possibility of another kind of corporeality.
