Thinker Maker Space of CYENS presents “Ceramic Extrusion: Prep-to-Print”, a hands-on workshop on ceramic 3D printing, with a focus on material preparation and the printing process, by resident artist Demetris Shammas.
Participants will gain an understanding of the step-by-step process of preparing the clay, loading it into the extruder’s cartridge, exporting print files, and finally bringing intricate ceramic forms to life. By the end of the workshop, participants will have acquired practical skills and knowledge to pursue their own ceramic design-to-print projects.
11:00 – 13:00 | Introduction, Material Preparation, Cartridge Loading
13:00 – 14:00 | Lunch break
14:00 – 15:30 | Design Interface, GCode Export
15:30 – 18:00 | 3D Printing, Assessment
Registration for the workshop is required as limited spaces are available. Registration & participation are free.
