Thinker Maker Space of CYENS presents “Design Thinking for Entrepreneurs” workshop by Eva Korae.
An introduction to design thinking techniques, which can be applied in a number of circumstances will take place, with the aim of allowing one’s idea to differentiate from another. Participants will be able to visualize one’s way of thinking and allow for development of those thoughts.
Hi, my name is Eva, I studied (BA Hons) Furniture Restoration and Craftsmanhip at Buckinghamshire College of Brunel University (UK) and I hold an MA in Furniture Design and Technology from Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College (UK).
I make and exhibit my own contemporary furniture/ three dimensional designs in Cyprus and Europe. I have been teaching design in Tertiary Education since 2003 and presently teach as Special Training Staff at Cyprus University of Technology. I am a Fab Academy graduate, an international digital fabrication course, specializing in contemporary prototyping techniques. I am an advisor regarding the set up and safe operation of prototyping and model making workshops.
I have been collaborating in the field of contemporary dance and theatre since 2005, designing and making props/scenery for the stage.
I was a founding member of “bytheway Productions”, a non-profit organization specializing in the promotion of contemporary performance and design making.
