Thinker Maker Space of CYENS presents “Exploring the depth of the projection surface”, a workshop by resident artist Angeliki Koutsodimitropoulou.
In this workshop participants will construct a three-dimensional installation using an array of translucent, semi-translucent, reflective materials and a layer of visual projection.

Workshop Breakdown:

Angeliki Koutsodimitropoulou is an architect and visual designer. She holds a Masters Degree in Spatial Strategies from Weissensee’s Art Academy in Berlin and a Masters Degree in Architecture from the University of Cyprus. Her main research interest includes the relationship between digital art forms and physical space. Intrigued by spatial perception, she works with digital imagery, visual projections and sculptures, interacting with viewers’ perceptions and altering their spatial understanding to probe preset notions of reality. She participated in Milan Design Week, the 15th Venice Biennale of Architecture Cyprus Pavilion, and the Dresden Kunstgewerbemuseum’s exhibition. She is one of the co-founders and the lead designer of the Alternadiva Collective. Involved in stage design, she also engages in architectural and visual design for art performances and exhibitions.
