Biography

Camila Calegari Marques is a Brazilian architect and urban planner with experience in parametric design, digital fabrication, and architectural projects with low environmental impact, using local materials like wood and bamboo. Her background includes collaboration with SUBdV Architecture and Estudio Guto Requena in Brazil, Tacuara Diseño en Bambú in Colombia, Jaime Peña Studio in Mexico, Bamboo Pure in Indonesia (remotely), and Blue Temple in Myanmar (remotely). She regularly facilitates courses and workshops online and in person, most recently at PUC Minas, Digital Futures, AAVS-SP, SESC, and Escola da Cidade. She has a master’s in computational design from the Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña and graduated from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. Currently, she focuses her career on organisations that fight for social, cultural, and ecological regeneration, working with local communities on projects that combine local materials with contemporary techniques.
