I am Mikheil Chkholaria, social entrepreneur from Zugdidi, Georgia. I love building both digital systems, like my marketplace Ravachuqo.ge and physical objects in my workshop, the Art Factory, which I started from scratch in 2023. My main goal now is to turn my workshop into a Youth Media Center to give local kids the tools they need to succeed. I’m coming to CYENS to learn the ‘Operating System’ of a world-class makerspace—how you manage the flow, the safety, and the community—so I can build a similar bridge between Cyprus and Georgia. Also, I’ll be sharing this whole journey with my 125,000+ online followers.
This residency is implemented within the framework of the “International Study Visit Programme“, one of the components of the Creative Compass Georgia. This initiative offers creatives a unique opportunity to gain new knowledge and skills in the cultural and creative industries (CCI) through international exchange and collaboration.
