A meaningful collaboration was realized between Thinker Maker Space (TMS) and BirdLife Cyprus, centered on the development of innovative educational materials that support the organization’s public-engagement and environmental-awareness activities. Through this collaboration, TMS provided structured mentoring and expert consultation on contemporary educational-tool prototyping, guiding BirdLife in exploring how digital design and fabrication methods can enhance the clarity, accessibility, and impact of their learning resources.

Working closely with BirdLife’s team, TMS supported the conceptualization and development of a suite of educational assets by introducing adaptable workflows that combine technological design, rapid prototyping, and iterative refinement. This process, enabled via the DiGiNN program, allowed BirdLife to test material options, evaluate usability, and align the visual and functional characteristics of the prototypes with their pedagogical objectives before committing to full production. This co-creative approach contributed to building internal capacity within BirdLife Cyprus, that enables the organization to confidently adopt contemporary fabrication techniques and digital design practices in the creation of engaging, mission-aligned educational toolkits.
